I’m sure there have been a few requests and/or inquiries about a 1U horizontal version of Scales but I figured I’d start up a new topic to see what the vibes are on this in 2021.
Would this be possible (and obv… would there be enough interest) in a 1U format?
Only mentioning cause the Steppy 1U gives me hope there could be a Scales 1U.
It’d be a wide mod for sure but could imagine this next to Noise Tools, Steppy & Duatt to be a real performance powerhouse.

Unfortunately my understanding is that it’s not quite that simple due to space. Steppy was first designed as a 1U module to fit within the thin 1U footprint. Scales was designed as a 3U module so it’s a bit wider and would have to be adapted quite a bit to fit in the 1U row.

This would be amazingly useful. 1u is great especially for utilities. And scales feels like it would fit perfectly in 1u (similar to steppy etc)
I too would be thrilled to jam with scales in 1u.
