I moved my 1U rail to the middle and didn’t do any drilling. Just unscrewed the rail and pressure fit it as needed. It’s a really tight fight and easy to lineup. With the modules all installed, it’s bomber solid. Absolutely will not budge.

For anybody else looking to do this, the measurements I used, made with digital calipers:
15mm from the front facing edge of the aluminum sidecheek.
135mm from the “top” (closest to the handle) edge of the aluminum sidecheek.
4mm hole.
Countersink to 8mm diameter. (The screw head is only 7.5mm wide which makes it slightly recessed when installed)
I’ll include a diagram, the left side is obviously just flipped.
