Shifty as audio-rate wavesplicer?

Just curious, can you use shifty as a sequential switch in audio-rate like a crossfader? It seems to have a digital core and doesn’t support audio-rate wavesplicing to create multi-cycle waveform.

I had to try this to find out, but yes you can produce some interesting results using Shifty at audio rate. Switching between SR and different voice numbers produces different tones, as does switching between S&H and T&H or using different Order settings. The frequency relationship between the gate in and CV plays a big role in how tonal the results will be.

As for using it as a crossfader or wavesplicer I’m not sure, but you are able to get some interesting stepped waves and tones!
