Hi
is the i2c on the back of planar usable with other i2c devices than the Gx/Qx? Say a Monome device or a Disting? Don’t want to break anything 
I don’t know the specifics of the Planar2 implementation, but I don’t think this would work:
- the Planar2 is likely only configured to be an I2C master; it’s possible to attach multiple masters to one bus but they need to know how to cooperate together
- the Planar2 is likely also only configured to send to specific addresses (the known ones for Gx/Qx) and not respond to anything else
