Metropolix.. how to move sequence one step?

Hi,

Sorry i can’t find this option (shortcut ?)you have say a 4 step linear sequence looping but you want to shift the “1” on step 2.
so rather then updating all faders you just press a button to advance the sequence by one. (makes any sense?)

There are probably a few ways to do this but the two that come to mind right now:

  1. Set OFFSET in the LEN (Length) menu (manual pg. 68) or assign a modulator to Stages Offset (pg. 156).
  2. Skip the step temporarily using EDIT + SKIP (pg. 81)

Caveats: Option 1 should only work on stages not pulses. Option 2 should shorten the overall sequence.
