Since the capability to save patterns to eight slots has been implemented (in v1.30 firmware), I believe it would be useful to have CV control over the pattern in use, via the Aux inputs.
It would also be useful if the timing of the change from the current pattern to the next was configurable by users, allowing the choice of either of the following behaviours:
- Change on the clock cycle after the end of the current pattern
- Change on the clock cycle immediately after detecting a CV value indicating a different pattern
I imagine that there might be some challenges with respect to maintaining timing when switching between patterns, but Iād be interested to hear from Kamil if this seems worth investigating.
