Metropolis alt panel/buttons

Hi everyone. I just managed to find a (now discontinued) BKM panel for my Metropolis, but when I try to install it, the buttons are just slightly too large for the panel. My Metropolis is a V1. Does anyone know if the v2 used smaller buttons, or where to possibly obtain slightly smaller buttons? Has anyone else installed one of these panels and had the same problems? Looking for a solution before i start dremling.

We switch to a custom molded button cap with a rounded top some years back. The older runs of Metropolis which you likely have used a flat top button cap that had a slightly larger diameter.

thanks for the response, i think that explains it. is there any way to get the newer buttons?
