Incorrect ribbon cable connectors - audio i/o 1u

Hi,

I bought a 2nd hand audio i/o 1u off ebay, but the ribbon cable supplied to hook it into audio jacks has 8 pins rather than the 10 need (FC-8P on the connector).

Seems like it should be a relatively simple matter to replace with a 10 pin socket, but would rather ask before potentially making a mess of it!

Yes, they’re fairly easy to find. You can just order any standard 2x5 pin ribbon cable and as long as the red stripes are oriented correctly it should work. Looks like even Amazon has them: https://www.amazon.ca/2x5-Pin-IDC-Ribbon-Cable/dp/B073XVPWG5

thanks, am in the UK so will have a hunt on amazon etc here.
