Does µMIDI support retriggering of ADSR?

I’m having a TTSH built that will include a mod to boost the gate and allow for trigger generation from a variety or sources. It also permits retriggering of the ADSR. Does µMIDI support this kind of functionality? What is retriggering exactly?

There’s both a gate and a trig output. The gate is high for as long as any note is held. The trig goes high every time a new note is pushed, even if one is already held down.
