Yes, that is also something I wish for (–> palette and 7U cases), or a dedicated USB Midi Host 1U that interfaces with the MIDI 1U.

I will re-up my wish for a 1U headphones module that has a separate 1U headphone jack module. i.e., just split the headphone jack off the current module into its own I/O module. Would fit the whole approach to putting I/O in its own row (in my case it’s a row on the back of my case)… Audio I/O, MIDI I/O, headphones, and power cables could all be kept off the front of the modular.

I’d love to see more bits of Cascadia split out as 1U - for instance, the “LFO X/Y/Z” controls look like they’d fit in 12hp with some juggling (basically a VCO 1U with one less pair of jacks).

Can anyone from IJ (@slowwild, @Danjel) chime in to confirm or deny if MIDI 1u is capable of supporting CV to MIDI with a future expander? Really need a solution for this and will look elsewhere, if it isn’t possible. Thanks!

This is probably a weird one, but I would love to see a 1U module that is basically an XY, but instead of input jacks, it has two-color LEDs, one for each channel.
I would use this module to monitor the CV activity on some Switched Mult 1U modules I have connected together, with another XY that serves as the input (these modules function together as a CV bus of sorts.)

I’ve always thought the 1u space would be a great space for extra waveshaping functions, I would love to see a gilbert adjacent sine shaper for example. Like the one in FM-aid or the North Coast middle path vco.
I think a Logic one could be usefull

How about a parametric EQ? Thinking something kind of like Empress’s ParaEQ, but stereo and for eurorack.

Would be nice to have a mixer that allows to use all four audiojacks as outputs. Two stereo channels or four separate channels. Could be nice to choose between those settings. I like the Cockpit but it would be nice to have the 1U row all from Intellijel
